Redesigned drop-down site navigation menus and cleaned up site design. Overhauled store landing page, wrote additional content for site, implemented new color palette, and generally improved look and feel. Periodically created sale and other marketing graphics. Created company logo and overall design. Lined up master printer who could do craftsman-quality work with custom embossing, custom ink color, and custom-curated paper.
A university rowing club, a mountaineering club, a surfboard maker, and a GIS data company. Primary intention in these designs was in making a single-color image that would lend itself to easy visibility, easy replicability, and allow options for further embellishment if the customer desired.
Product photos for online store landing page. Emphasis placed on fine detail, color, and texture. Also created text overlays and wrote ad copy. Visit the client's site at www.potomacpaddlesports.com.
Collaboration with a painting company to do large-scale decorative installations in Cebu, Philippines. Translated artist's sketches to vector images, worked out processes for transferring multi-layer pieces to wall and ceiling surfaces, and assisted with installation. Traveled with client to job site for three months. The finished pieces consisted of 18 kt gold leaf, palladium leaf, and latex paint. Of particular note was the successful effort in scaling the designs to land perfectly on corner constraints (see below).
The first in this series (two 30 x 40 block prints on vellum) was done in 2008. Two additional works (ten 15 x 20 block prints on vellum of each image) were done in 2011.
